Sasha's Story...
We found Sasha running along a busy street, limping, hungry, and dirty. It looked like she's been out for a while. We took her in, and took her to the vet for a check up. An x-ray on Sasha's leg revealed a badly broken bone that could only be fixed by an orthopedic surgeon. Those types of surgeries are very expensive, but fortunately, with the help of our supporters were able to raise the money for Sasha's surgery. Now, after two months of recovery, her leg is completely healed, and Sasha's ready for her forever home! It is amazing how even when Sasha was going through a rough time and had no reason to trust humans, she remained the sweetest, loving, affectionate dog. She gives kisses to everyone, and will do anything for a belly rub. Sasha has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks. She loves squeaky toys and adores bones. Sasha is great with kids, but because she is pretty active, we would like her to go to a home with children 7 and older, or adults only. Sasha is very smart and takes direction well, so she will be very easy to train. She already knows some basic commands, such as sit, down, and shake.
Sasha is a very special dog. She is a wonderful girl who deserves a great home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
