My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi's adoption fee is $350.

Kiwi is a female 6 yr. old Papillon mix that weighs approximately 17 pounds. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines and is micro chipped. Kiwi came to us from a French speaking home, so understands commands in French. That being said, she has picked up very well on our body language and expressions and loves being around people. She will greet you with a happy expression, never messes in the house, and will always make you feel welcome. Whatever happened throughout the day, when you return home you will know nothing is damaged or marked, and she will be ready to take you out for a nice walk to relieve herself and to show off how good her socializing skills can be.
Kiwi is not as comfortable around big dogs as those that are her own size. Outside she will greet them; however, inside she gets tense, and looks to you to encourage relaxation. Cats on the other hand are her size, and she gets along well with felines.
Kiwi enjoys sleeping on her bed, but usually in a corner or around wherever you are. Most of the time, you never would know she's there. She sometimes snores, and when she wants attention she will talk in her quiet voice similar to moaning, and wiggle her bum in weird ways. She enjoys being groomed and bathed. She eats well, and should be discouraged from people food other than raw vegetables for treats - ie. carrots, apples etc., as she needs to lose a few pounds.
Kiwi is also happy going for car rides, and walks in the park. At only 6 years old, Kiwi has the best years of her life ahead – could they be spent with you?
