Cricket's Story...
Cricket is a 30 lb 1.5 year old Heeler Mix. She is current on vaccinations, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped. She gets along great with other dogs and ignores cats completely. She is a real snuggle bug and just loves being around people. She is crate trained and does very well on a leash. She has a very sweet temperament and would adapt easily into a new home. If you would like to learn more about Cricket, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Cricket is being fostered in Gurley, AL. Cricket is being posted as a courtesy for an individual rescue not affiliated with FOR.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Marietta Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
