Bubbles's Story...
Bubbles is a 8 week, female kitten who has a little orange dot on her forehead. She is a brown tabby and has some orange mixed in. She is super friendly and is always purring. She was found along with 4 other girls in a rural area near Acme.

She is Leukemia negative, current on shots, wormed and flea treated. Adoption donation is $65. We do offer a low cost spay plan so ask for details.

Contact Patty at 724-423-5571 (this is also the # for the low cost spay/neuter plan - not for adopters- that the shelter coordinates so leave a message after the message) or email at pjmazza@hotmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her. She is not at the shelter. She is in foster care in Mt Pleasant.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubbles, a Acme Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
