Faye's Story...
FAYE
FAYE IS IN URGENT NEED OF A RELIABLE FOSTER / PERMANENT HOME
EVERYTHING PROVIDED FOR HER FOSTER HOME.
Faye is a female golden color spayed lab/hound mix, approx. 55 lbs., 8-9 yrs old. She is healthy, affectionate, active and loves to be with people. Sometimes Faye will take a nap for hours in the day but she's also active and likes to run in the yard. Faye would be best with a secure fenced in yard and needs to be the only pet. She has been in a temporary foster home and that person is moving. Faye will again be without a home. She is very sad in boarding and does not do well.
Faye is somewhat strong and would be best with an experienced dog person. She adores men, and is fine with women and children. But she does take a special closeness and liking to men.
Please open up your heart and home to Faye.
DONATIONS TO PAY FOR BOARDING, ETC. are needed and greatly appreciated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faye, a Fairfield Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Fairfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fairfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
