My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It’s Miggy here, Miggy the Iggy, and I am an 8y/o male with a lovely seal coat. I’ve been waiting for my forever home for a while, and although happy in my foster home, would love to be YOUR dog.

I’m glad to be able to say, I have left most of my baggage from my previous life behind me. It wasn’t easy being a breeder dog, and some emotional scars remain. However, I have made great progress in my foster home and no longer spin excessively. I do spin on occasion, but I don’t mind, if you don’t.

Hey, we’ve all got our baggage…some dogs bark and chew inappropriate items in home; others can’t figure out where to potty. I am guilty of none of those things! I am quiet as a mouse, not a chewer and use my potty pad and the backyard. Oh, did I mention that I can go outside on my own now? That may not seem like a big deal, but for me, that is a great accomplishment. I am really becoming ‘normal’!

My daily routine is fairly low key, and consists of hanging out with my foster fur and non-fur family members…dogs, cats and kids. I enjoy their company and interaction. As long as you have time for me, I wouldn’t have to have another dog with me, but I would enjoy it too. Since I spent so much time confined in my previous life, it would be best if I was not crated.

If you are looking for a companion that is content just to ‘be’, I’m your guy. I’m potty-trained, fully vetted and ready to start my forever with you!
