Pardon me, I was just singing my song. Hi there – my name is Bruno, Bruno Mars actually. I’m a poodle spaniel mix, with soft black fur and some spots here and there, just for fun! Little me, I’m just over a year old. I recently came to NBS Animal Rescue with plenty of affection to give, even though I haven’t been shown it to begin with. You see, I was severely underweight, horribly matted with unpleasant ear infections, icky parasites and a bit of a broken heart. Luckily, the rescue team has worked very hard at changing all that for me.
Now that I’ve been cared for, well fed and adored – I’m learning what it’s like to be a happy healthy dog! So far, I’ve learned that I LOVE playing with stuffed toys, squeakers and tennis balls. Also, I’ve become a professional snuggler. Really, I just love to be close to people and have my ears scratched. Playing outside is pretty fun too. I love to roll in the grass and am learning to walk on a leash. Oh – and I’m also working really hard at potty training. I love praise and treats –so I’m going to be really good at it some day. I’m looking for a home that would be patient with me as I figure out what a dog’s life is really about. If I could have anything it would be a loving home, a lap to lounge on, and some squeaky toys of my very own.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
