Darlene's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Darlene's Story...
Darlene is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle Labrador/Beagle mix. She is sweet, walks pretty well on leash and is very very good in the car. Darlene is just a total love bug! She is good with other dogs and would probably be fine with cats. This darling girl has a mild deformation on her snout (it turns a little one way) which the vet thinks is a birth defect or injury from puppyhood. It does not affect her in any way.

If you'd like to apply for me, or any of my rescues other dogs, please email info@labsandfriends.org to request an application or go to their website at www.labsandfriends.org and download and fill one out. They can be scanned and emailed or faxed to 818-351-8148 (no cover needed)..

Thank you for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darlene, a Burbank Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
