Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This boy's past is a bit of a mystery--but what we DO know is that he was loved and had a home. The clue is the blue leather collar with bell he was wearing when found by Animal Care & Control at W. 96th St. Sadly, his owners didn't go looking for him in the most obvious place and where he wound up--the shelter. Good news is that his collar served as a lucky talisman--that, and his "friendly" description enchanted many people--those people rallied to save him on the night that he was on the at risk list. Piet is a quiet and easy to please gentleman--he's happy to play by himself with his stuffed toy in his quarters but is so deserving of a cozy home with his special someone close by. He loves to have his cheeks rubbed and eagerly awaits visitors. Piet was born around 5/21/06. He would do best in a quiet home as an only cat.
