Max's Story...
Max – Your Adventure Pal!
Max is a gorgeous heeler mix puppy who is so sweet and personable. He loves to play with the other dogs at our rescue and is such a happy boy. Max is a big guy and we expect him to grow up to be a medium/large dog full grown (~ 50 lbs). Max is very people oriented and easy to train. He wants to please you and will follow you anywhere with a big, silly grin. He has medium energy and would be a great running, swimming, hiking, adventure buddy! Max has wonderful house manners and will be a great family dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Austin Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
