Cisco's Story...
Cisco is a male 5 year old Shih Tzu mix. Cisco adores toys and is looking for someone to play with him! He recently had to have an eye removed but he hasn't let it stop him from getting out and walking and playing.
His adoption fee includes: Spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping/microchip registration, and flea/heartworm preventative up to the point of adoption. In the first 30 days after adoption we offer a free physical examination, nutritional assessment and wellness consultation to help make sure that the new adoptee has the best start in life in their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cisco, a Dallas Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
