Pork Chop's Story...
Pork Chop #449 is a big loving 4-year-old goof-ball! Weighing in at 145 pounds this gentle giant is looking for a permanent loving home. This Great Dane was found chained to a tree and it appears he may have been used as a chew toy for other dogs. Despite his rough start in life Pork Chop loves everyone: men women, children and other dogs! We think he would be ok with cats and can do a cat test. We are working on basic obedience and leash training and Pork Chop is a fast learner. We are looking for an adopter who will give Pork Chop the plush indoor life of a couch potato that he deserves and most Danes want! And of course someone who will continue his obedience training. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pork Chop, a Waldorf Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
