Eugene's Story...
Eugene. Male lab. Contact bunnystmp@aol.com

Meet Eugene! Eugene is a beautiful 2 year -old yellow lab. Eugene and his sister are both in our rescue looking for a new family. He is house-broken and good with other dogs. He is also good with children. He does have a lot of energy and would benefit from a family that could give him the appropriate amount of excercise. He loves to play with her brother and is bonded with her. It would be ideal to adopt them out together, but serious inquiries on just Eugene will be considered. Contact Bunnystmp@aol.com

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day. Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eugene, a Kingwood Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
