Lexie's Story...
Adoption Pending. LEXIE (aka Electra) was treated BADLY most of her young life but she is now ready to be cherished and to love her new family. Despite being beaten and left for dead, this sweet girl is trusting and super playful. She loves being hugged and scratched. She plays well with other dogs and puppies and likes to play with all sorts of dog toys. She sleeps through the night even when there is a storm. Please make room in your heart and in your home and give Lexie the happily ever after she so deserves. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Lexie if it means she will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will cover the cost of her vetting and spaying.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Union City Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Union City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
