Shepp is a beautiful boy who is gentle and mellow. Shepp is about 2 years old, is affectionate and playful. He is a little shy when you first meet him, but he does warm up after a few minutes. Shepp is good with other dogs, enjoys taking walks and car rides. He was very stressed being in the shelter, so we are happy we were able to rescue him! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shepp, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel/Springer Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Springer Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Springer Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Springer Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Springer Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
