My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pint sized little lassie is BOO. Boo just arrived at our rescue and was shaking she was so frightened. So we named her Boo. She has since realized that we are good to her and taking care of her and now she is just happy as a clam. She was picked up by the local animal control officer roaming around out in the county. Her nails are long indicating that she had probably been an inside dog or a house dog and either got away from her home or was just dropped off because no one wanted her anymore. Her coat is matted on her belly and has lots of seeds embedded in it so she has been out roaming around for several days or longer. We will take care of getting her coat all beautified---you need to help us find this cutie a home.
We think that she is at least a year old. Since she just arrived, she has only been started on vaccines. We will be scheduling her to be spayed and to complete any necessary vetting that she requires before she can go onto her new home. She appears to be a Pekingnese/Papillon mix. She is an adult and weighs 14 lbs. She is testing heart worm positive and we will be scheduling her treatment next week. She will not be sent to her new home until that is completed and nothing else would be required from the adopting family. She is very friendly with the other dogs and loves, loves, loves people. She rarely barks and is just very happy to be held and petted. We will be happy to test her with cats and kids as needed, but since she just arrived, we have not had time to fully evaluate her personality. Her adorable good looks won us all over and hopefully she will find her perfect home soon.
