Violet's Story...
"Who's sweet, lovable, and snuggly? Why, it's me...VIOLET! I'm an eight-year-old Miniature Poodle mix who will bring sunshine into your life. When you see me in person, you won't be able to resist my precious face and my endearing smile. I enjoy going for walks, and I love to sit on laps or to be held. My fur is soft, so you'll probably enjoy petting me as much as I will enjoy the petting. I would like to be in an adult home, and I'd want to be the only dog in my new home. You'll be happy to know that I've already been house trained, and you'll be even happier to know that MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30. Can you believe it? All this cuteness for only $30! My adoption fee includes my shots and my microchip, and I've already been spayed. Please come on over to the El Cajon Animal Shelter so we can get to know each other better. I think you'll fall in love with me and that you'll want me to be your new buddy, so please hurry to the shelter. Love, Violet" Kennel #63

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a El Cajon Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
