Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Izzy is a 6 year old female harlequin with cropped, but flopped, ears. She came to rescue after her family decided that their home was too small for her. Izzy is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. She is housebroken and knows sit and lay down. She will come when called. She would prefer a home where she can have either lots of carpet to walk on or throw rugs/runners because she has a hard time walking on bare floors. She can be a little stiff in the back legs, but this doesn't stop her from wanting to play. In fact, Izzy's doggy manner can be a little lacking at times, and she plays very rough. She would do best in a home where the other dogs are tolerant of her "bull in a china shop" attitude. She is a quiet girl, and doesn't bark or whine unless there's a visitor. She rides well in the car, and loves her foster dad to pieces. She will tolerate a crate, but doesn't need it.
Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League can only adopt within its incorporated area (eastern NY, eastern PA, NJ, DE, WV, MD, and VA). For more information on our adoption policies please visit our website: www.magdrl.org To adopt a Great Dane under 2 you must have traditional fencing (no electronic fences permitted).
