Max's Story...
Meet little Max. Max is a purebred yorkie, and came from a horrible situation. Max was hit by a car and was never seen by a vet instead the previous owners tied him to a tree, to endure the elements thru the winter. A neighbor finally convinced them to surrender Max. Max's leg will more than likely have to be removed due to this old injury and he has no mobility in this leg. Now don't feel sorry for max because his bum leg doesn't slow him down, he loves to play, does wonderful with dogs of all sizes, and loves children. He loves to car ride and enjoys the day at the groomers. Max is always smiling and happy. Max is also house trained. Max would be the perfect dog for any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Nashville Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
