COURTESY POSTING - CONTACT PETS.KATRINA@GMAIL.COM

Tiger is a super friendly, easy-going 4 year old boy. He weighs about 90 lbs.

He was surrendered to a rural central valley shelter by his owners because he was sick! If only they had just taken him to the vet, they would have found out that he only had an easily treated intestinal parasite.

Tiger has been treated and is all better now and has been rescued out to a temporary foster home BUT HE CANNOT STAY THERE FOR LONG! He really needs a forever home that will not dump him at the shelter just because he doesn't feel good.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger - URGENT, a Sacramento American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
