Jessie's Info...

Jessie's Story...
Jessie is a 6 month old black/tan female Doberman that came from the Amarillo, TX shelter. She is a bit of a nervous dog, but is learning what it is like to live in a home and she is thriving. Jessie is very good with other dogs and she would likely be best in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes. Jessie is still learning good manners, but she is a young dog and would do really well in a puppy class.

Jessie would be happiest in an active home without children, as she tends to be vocal when visitors come to the house. She melts into you when she feels safe and love is offered, but it takes a little bit of TLC and patience to earn her trust. No doubt, she will bond to her new family very well, and be a wonderful lifelong companion.

Jessie has a natural tail and natural ears (she just thought it was funny to flip one over while we were taking her picture).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Albuquerque Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
