Macy's Story...
Macy is a very sweet 1-2 year old girl who had a rough start at life. She came to us from a local shelter where she was brought in as a stray. Both of her eyes were in terrible shape. Her left eye had to be enucleated (removed) and we worked to save her other eye. This little girl is fearless. She is very quiet, but is very loving and everyone that meets her is a friend. She gets around great and doesn't let the fact that she has one eye get her down. Macy will do best in a home with older children.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate), dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months) and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative. If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website, www.oneliferescueandrehab.org, and fill out our online adoption application. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macy, a Parker Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Parker, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Parker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parker paves the way for another one to be saved.
