Simba's Story...
Simba is pretty strong but even the strongest need a little help from their friends! Simba desperately needs a foster or forever home! Can you help?He is an 11-month old goofy boy who is crate trained and has learned basic obedience commands. He'd be the perfect dog to take to the beach or park this summer. Simba is neutered, up to date on his shots and housebroken. He will only be adopted into his forever home that is located within 1.5 hours of Lake & McHenry Counties in Illinois...(sorry, NO exceptions).**
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an application at www.aandsrescue.com. After we review your application, a volunteer will contact you. Thank you for your interest!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Cary American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cary, or seeking a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cary paves the way for another one to be saved.
