Mulligan's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mulligan's Story...
Mulligan is an adorable 4 month old Boxer mix. He is neutered and is doing great with his housetraining - at the kennel, he understands that he is supposed to go outside to do his business. What a smart puppy! He is already beginning to learn the SIT cue and is well on his way to learning a lot more. Mulligan love to play with other friendly dogs and thinks CATS ARE FUN! In fact, Mulligan thinks everything in life is fun - he is a very happy, healthy little guy. Mulligan has a cute little voice he uses to "talk".

We prefer a home with children over the age of 5 who will be able to assist with the gentle care of a puppy. It will also be helpful to have had some experience with housebreaking, teaching house manners, and obbedience tranining. It will be important to continue socializing Mulligan during this critical puppy socialization period. We would recommned finding a good puppy class to take your puppy to! No electric fences, please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mulligan, a Big Canoe Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Big Canoe, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Big Canoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Big Canoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Big Canoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Big Canoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
