Chester is a 9 year old male maltese who came to our rescue because his owner of 9 years had a change in life circumstance and is no longer able to care for him. Chester is looking for a home where someone is home for most of the day - he likes to be right at his owner's side - and he will bark if left alone, so he is not a good candidate for apartment living. He does not like to ride in the car. He has the energy of a much younger dog. He is sweet natured and just wants to spend his days with his favorite person at his side.
