Butterscotch's Story...
Meet Butterscotch!

Butterscotch is a pomeranian mix puppy born in mid-March. He was surrendered to New Beginnings with his mom, 2 sisters. His mom is a pomeranian mix, but his dad's breed is a mystery. Butterscotch is the biggest pup in the litter, and weighs 15 pounds at 12 weeks old (June 7). His sisters and mom have all been adopted, so now Butterscotch is waiting for his chance at a forever home.

He gets along great with adults, kids and other dogs. He is in a foster home with a resident dog, cat and children, and gets along well with everyone.

As with most puppies, Butterscotch has lots of energy. We would prefer him to go to a home with a fenced yard so he can run and play off leash.

Butterscotch has been neutered, is current on vaccinations and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. If you're interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application at www.newbeginningsas.org, or email adoption@newbeginningsas.org for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butterscotch, a Pickerington Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Pickerington, or seeking a Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Pickerington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pickerington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pickerington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pickerington paves the way for another one to be saved.
