Meet LolliPop! This sweet, older Shih Tzu mix has had a hard life and is looking for a quiet home where she can finally have the love that she so deserves. Around 10-12 years old, some may call her a “senior” dog, but we just consider it “experienced”! But don’t let age fool you. True to her breed, she has lots of spunk and is always up for an adventure. And boy does she love to cuddle and just hang out with her people! In fact, LolliPop loves people, dogs, and cats alike and would even be willing to share her new home with a buddy. She has charmed everyone at the Rescue with her good looks and sweet disposition and we know she will make a wonderful companion.

We suspect that LolliPop has spent many of her years in a puppymill. The lack of dental care has left her with a receded jaw and tooth loss. As a result, she has to eat wet food and her tongue will always stick out. It does not slow her down in the least and we find it quite adorable! Hopefully, there is a family out there who can look past her age and other issues to see the wonderful dog inside.
