There is an adoption fee of $200 for this dog. No phone calls or emails please. Please see our website for details.

This adorable boy is Ducato and he is in rescue through no fault of his own. He was born in 2009 and looks/acts much younger. Most Dachshunds live 14 to 16 years so he is just getting warmed up. His name is recognizable to motor bike lovers.

He is a tweenie size or about 15 pounds. He is not a large dog once he loses some weight.

He has no bad habits I can find and he has been a beloved family pet. Snatch up this handsome dogs because loud colored piebalds do not last long in rescue. To adopt see that page at www.spokanewienerdogs.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ducati, piebald, $200 fee, a Spokane Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Spokane, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Spokane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spokane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spokane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spokane paves the way for another one to be saved.
