Meeka's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Meeka's Story...
Meeka is an adorable 13 month old little blue heeler mix whose family has lost their home and can't take her along. She is a bit shy for a few minutes then loves to be by people . She does very well with other dogs and cats. Meeka would really like a owner she can spend a lot of time with at home or maybe go along with on the job. She is small for a heeler, maybe 30 - 35 pounds.

Meeka will be spayed next week and ready for adoption. She is housetrained and mainly a pet not a working dog.

Adoption fee:$295.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meeka, a Mora Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Mora, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Mora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mora paves the way for another one to be saved.
