Lenny's Story...
Hi, they call me Lenny and I am a 3 year old, 74 pound, red and white staffordshire terrier. I was found on someone's front porch and looked like I had been well cared for, but was not micro chipped and no one answered the "found" ads, so it seems likely that I was dumped by owners who maybe lost their home or could not keep me for whatever reason. It was certainly not because of anything I did as I am a very nice doggy! I get along well with other dogs although with my size, I might be too much for small dogs, but I play very well with other medium to large dogs. I am being fostered in a home with no kids, but I am so gentle that I should be good with them, especially older ones. I am a "velcro dog" in that I like to stay close to you. I know "sit", walk well on a leash, use a doggy door, ride well in cars and am generally a low maintenance kind of dog, so I would fit into most households. I have not been tried with cats. I am neutered, current on shots and will be micro chipped before going home with you. My adoption donation is $200. Please call or text (925) 209-6480 or leave a message at (925) 209-6480 or email for more information and to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Phoenix Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
