We like Ike – and you will, too! Eisenhower is a loyal, sweet, ginger-colored fellow who loves to talk. Not just speechifying, he will respond to your questions with meows and purrs. Though he may take a while to warm up to strangers, he is very affectionate when he gets familiar with you. He absolutely loves petting, occasionally luxuriating with a nice belly rub. Ike will happily snuggle with you during couch time or help you work at your desk. Usually laid-back in temperament, he has fun bursts of energy after mealtime or naptime. Not much of a chaser, he does enjoy batting and nipping at stick toys. He is a fastidious gentleman when it comes to eating; he seems to split his meal up into courses, pausing to clean himself before moving on to seconds. He’s also curious around water – you can occasionally find him lapping running water from the faucet or lounging in an empty sink. Ike has super-soft, extra fluffy orange fur with an adorable white mark on his chest. With his kind eyes, long whiskers, and round face, this big guy can’t wait to make your acquaintance. Once you meet him, you will be fast friends and constant companions. Ike was born in 2008.
