Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi our names are Ruby, Jack, Licorice, Moo, Cosmo, and Charlie. We were born on April 23, 2013 outside to a first-time mommy. We made it to our foster mom’s house on April 30th and within 2 weeks our Mommy was gone to heaven. We were just 3 weeks old when we lost her. She was the best Mommy and we were very sad and scared. We all huddled together at night on the blanket that smelled like Mommy and oh how we cried for her. Our foster moms have been very good to us. They bottle fed us until we were weaned at 7 weeks and have made sure we have lots of toys to play with and lots of hugs and kisses and that we learned about using the litter box and keeping ourselves clean. They are very kind, but it’s just not the same as having your own Mommy to teach you things.
Now that we are 9 weeks old, it is time to get serious about our forever homes and we are nervous. We have had a rough beginning and we really want to find a good stable loving permanent home. We will need playmates, so if you don’t have a cat or 2 for one of us to play with, please consider adopting 2 of us. We all love to play and wrestle with each other until we all fall down in a heap and go to sleep.
We have had both our worm treatments and been spayed/neutered. We also received our 1st of 2 distemper shots. If you adopt one or more of us, the only thing you will have to do is when we are 12 weeks old, we will need a rabies shot and our second distemper shot. Most major pet stores have shot clinics weekly and of course, any vet can give the shots.
We all have been talking among ourselves and given what has already happened in our young lives, we are concerned that no one will want us. But we really have learned to do all the cat things that need to be done even though Mommy wasn’t there to show us everything. We know our Mommy is an angel in heaven and that she is looking out for us, protecting us, and sending the right people our way so we all find loving and loyal homes. Wouldn’t you love to have a little angel like one of us in your life?
