Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Axle is a blue and tan, natural eared Dober-boy. He is just a few months over one year of age. His left ear has a small piece missing as a result of being attacked by a dog at his previous home. Axle is your typical energetic young male dobe and would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard for him to exercise in. He walks well on a leash and is very responsive to your voice. Axle knows the commands SIT and DOWN and we are working on the WAIT command. He is crate trained and rides well in a crate in the car. He lives with two small dogs and two cats in his foster home. He does well with the small dogs but can play a bit rough for them. Due to his past history, he may be defensive around large dogs especially pushy male dogs. Axle is very curious about the cats so he would do best with cats that are already used to dogs. Axle is unknown around children but should do well with older children. Because of his size he could unintentionally knock over a toddler. He is a very sweet boy and he listens well but would benefit from a group Obedience class which is a DAR&E requirement. If you like to participate in dog sports, this boy would be a good candidate!
