Jelly Bean's Story...
Update: Jelly Bean is in foster care and loves other animals. She is very sweet and gentle. She is 7 months old and coming a long way. What a great little dog some lucky family will adopt.

Jelly Bean is an adorable~ 7 month old mix rescued from a hoarding situation. She is very shy and undersocialized but starting to warm up already, and is looking for an adult home with another friendly dog to help her feel more comfortable, and someone who will work to socialize her to make up for her past. She has an adorable little face and looks like a shrunken yellow lab puppy! Please submit an application if you are interested on www.secondchance.petfinder.org

. She is under 15lbs full grown and is some sort of doxie/italian greyhound/chi? mix?

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jelly Bean, a Randolph Dachshund/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Italian Greyhound for sale in Randolph, or seeking a Dachshund/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Randolph.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Randolph already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Randolph breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Dachshund/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Randolph paves the way for another one to be saved.
