  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Esmay is a miniature pinscher mix who is approximately 3 years old. She loves to be held and snuggle with her people, but dont be fooled, this girl loves to play. Esmay would love a fenced in yard to play in and she loves her daily walk. Esmay is well socialized with other dogs and would do well with any other doggy play mate. We are not sure how she would do with cats. She would do best with children over the age of 12. Esmay is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations as well as house and crate trained. She would be a delightful addition to a loving family!

SINCE ESMAY DOES NOT LIKE TO BE CRATED, SHE DOES NOT COME TO OUR ADOPTION EVENTS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET ESMAY, PLEASE GO TO THE MAKE A DIFFERENCE RESCUE FACEBOOK PAGE AND SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE WITH YOUR PHONE NUMBER, WE WILL SET UP A MEET AND GREET FOR YOU AND ESMAY.

All the dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. Adoption applications are only available at our adoption events. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). You must live within 1 hr of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. We do require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. Come meet all the dogs of the Make A Difference Rescue at the Troy Petco on Coolidge and 15 Mile Rd every Sunday 12-4:30pm.

About Make A Difference Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Make A Difference Rescue Inc.(MAD) is a non-profit, no kill, foster based canine rescue. Our rescue was formed for the purpose of preventing abuse to animals. We assist in pulling from rural area shelters with high kill rates, abused, abandoned and neglected animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please come visit us at Petco on Coolidge Hwy in Troy, MI. We are there every Sunday from 12-5pm.

Since we are a foster based rescue, we can not guarantee the attendance of every dog each week. Please email makeadifferencerescue@gmail.com to inquire about a specific dog(s).

Our Adoption Process...

We do require that potential adopters complete an application in person, and a face to face interview with a group representative. We do home inspections and cannot drive more than an hour.

Fully fenced yard is required for our bully breed dogs and all puppy adoptions.

All dogs have a one time adoption donation of $275.
If the dog is over 6 months of age, spaying and neutering is performed by the rescue and at the rescue's cost.
