6/03/13: Chester is a wonderful and sweet fellow who was found as a stray in Arkansas, and brought to a local shelter. As a blind and heartworm positive dog, he didn't have much of a chance, and that is when BDRA stepped in! Chester had a two day transport to his foster home in PA, and he arrived safe and sound and ready for the next step in his life! Chester is a very loving boy who is house trained. He's also very good with other dogs, cats and adores kids. He loves to cuddle on the couch while we're watching tv, and he loves to have his belly rubbed, rolling over and over! Chester is currently being treated for heartworm and is somewhat hard of hearing, but he can hear the crinkle of a cheese wrapper or a potato chip bag! Chester has really come a long way and is ready for his very own forever home. He has so much love to give! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Spring City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Spring City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Spring City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring City paves the way for another one to be saved.
