Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I am Bruce. I was living with a female out in fields and woods. We were dumped and lost and I don’t remember how long ago it was. But, I am almost two now so it must have been a year ago. We were cold and hungry, we endured violent storms out in the open. We hunted for anything we could find to eat but were always hungry. The female had babies and then we had them to feed too. It was a hopeless case of survival alone in the world. On a very cold wet day, a man found us and hauled everyone to a big place with many dogs. It was loud but it was dry, warm and there was food. The female and babies were all adopted. I stayed in that place for five months. I heard they were going to kill me, but the volunteers loved me and kept holding me back. I am sure happy about it too. One day a sweet lady came to take me home. She decided to help me get a new home. She knew I was on borrowed time and decided to foster me. I love her. She has four Pits and they are all so nice. I am the quiet one and not as rowdy as them though. I like to play okay, but not rough house stuff. I am a gentle big boy. I weigh about 60 pounds but need to gain about ten more pounds. I am eating well now! I love people most of all. I want one or two of my own so desperately. I know they will adore me. I am so darn loveable. I walk so well on a leash people stop to express their amazement at me. I am house trained and crate trained though I do not need a crate. My hearts desire is to find a forever loving home. I have waited so long in search of true companionship and loyalty. I will be a perfect hearts desire - the right heart. It is out there somewhere. I am a gentle big boy, quiet and affectionate. I am Bruce on the road home.
