Devon is a male Maltese/Poodle mix puppy 6 months old. He has soft ivory fur with dusky light apricot highlights. His coat is non-shedding and just like a cloud to touch. Devon has green eyes and a sweet pinkish brown nose. He is on the small side, currently weighing only 9 pounds. He should grow to be 12-15 pounds as an adult. Devon is a big baby, very submissive and super sweet. He is excellent with other dogs, cats and children - but they need to be gentle because Devon is a real softie. He enjoys mellow, easygoing play with soft toys or a small ball. Nothing rough or rowdy for this baby boy. Devon will try hard to do as he is told, never wanting to make a fuss or be a problem. He would be terrified and sad if scolded for anything. Devon always tries to be on his best behavior and to fit in. He loves attention and will crawl up to you on his belly for some love. Once he knows you are his friend, he will twirl around in joy, guaranteed to make you laugh. Devon is a wonderful snuggler and will make the best, most cuddly nap partner ever. He is learning how to walk on leash and stays close to your side when out and about. Devon will thrive in a home where he can be included as a family member and loved often. He will do best with gentle owners in a more peaceful environment. He does like to play with other dogs his size and would also be a nice companion for another young dog in the home. Devon is very healthy and ready for his forever home today!

Devon’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Devon is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Samantha and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DEVON, a Newport Beach Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
