My story

Hello! My name is Liza!

I was rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. When MRT rescued me and my BFF Marilyn we had a skin condition that was caused from fleas and being fed yucky food. We were given medicated baths and put on antibiotics and now I look amazingly beautiful and I'm all better.

I am a super fun girl! I am 27 lbs and full grown. I am playful and very loving. I get along great with other dogs, and I adore children. I tend to think that cats should be chased, so I would like to go to a home that doesn't have any cats. I'd rather not stress them out.

I have something super cute about me. When I get excited I make a happy squeaking sound. My foster mom calls me Squeaker sometimes because she thinks it's so cute.

I love to run and play and then snuggle up on the couch for a night of relaxation. I am looking for a family that will love me forever and buy me lots of chew toys. I love toys!!
