Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Johnnie is a good natured male 2- 3 years traditionally marked border collie with a semi rough coat. His foster mom reports that he is very sweet and affectionate. He is quite active and will need a home that where daily exercise is consistent, as he is higher on the energy scale. He would make a fabulous hiking or running partner for a person with an active lifestyle. Johnnie is eager to please, and is treat motivated to learn his lessons and does know some basic obedience commands. He is learning all about walking on a leash and is doing better every day. He would benefit from an obedience class to continue his K-9 education.
Johnnie has nice house manners and is OK inside and out, as he is not destructive. He is socialized with other dogs and gets along with his other foster brother and sisters. He is probably OK with cats, as he does not bother the resident cat on the property.
Johnnie is a very sweet and loving guy looking for his own special person to call his own. As he is very active, he would be best suited in a home with older children. He requires a lot of attention, exercise, and care. But most all, as with all border collies, he needs a job to do.
