My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is an 8 or 9 yr old yellow lab boy who is very sweet with his humans. He is average size, weighing about 65lbs. Cody is extremely handsome and has a very distinguished graying face and he is looking for love and a family of his own. Cody does get along with some other dogs, but he is a little grumpy with dogs who get in his face and would really prefer to be an only dog. A boy of his stature deserves his human’s full attention and considering what this boy has been through, we don’t blame him a bit. Cody was pulled from a high kill shelter, he was vetted and treated for heartworm, and Cody appears to be having some arthritic issues. However, he gets around great and just loves his human attention and his good boy treats. Cody is house trained, walks good on lead, and knows some obedience skills. He is truly a deserving gentleman and will make a great companion for a household with older children, men, and women. Cody is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is now heartworm negative. He is also micro-chipped and has been kept on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.
