LADY's Story...
PRETTY LADY! LADY is a cute Black and Tan Coonhound mix. She is around 1 year of age and is a nice size at only 38 pounds. LADY is a very friendly dog and enjoys playing with other dogs. She has not been cat tested at this point. She is currently enrolled in the CAMP CANINE PROGRAM and is doing really well with her training! When she has completed the Camp Canine Program, she will be an AKC Good Citizen who knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) and other skills that she will need to interact politely with humans and other dogs. LADY is fully vetted, spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LADY, a LaGrange Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
