Lonesome Dove's Story...
LONESOME DOVE is a beautiful Corgi mix who was found in the rain and mud soon after she must have given birth to a litter of puppies which sadly were not found. She needed TLC and medical care which are being provided. She is well on her way back to good health and now she needs to find a foster or forever home. She is house trained, good with other dogs and enjoys playing with puppies. She is a very sweet dog, a little timid, and she needs to learn to trust people. A good loving home is just what this wonderful girl deserves. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Lonesome Dove if it means she will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will cover the cost of her vetting and spaying.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lonesome Dove, a Union City Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Union City, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
