Valentino's Story...
2/21/13 No home is complete without a cute, cuddly furry companion and if that's just what you're lacking, we can certainly fix you up. Meet Valentino, our adorable 9 month old Shiba Inu/Cattle Dog mix who is a barrel of fun to be around. He is your typical playful, energetic puppy with lots of love bottled up inside as well. He is great with other dogs and is eager to meet new friends. Valentino and (we think) his mother, Sweetheart were dumped on a cold rainy night and seeing how clean and what great condition they are in, they were definitely someone's pets. We just don't know why we have them now. However, Valentino isn't going to dwell on the past, he is ready to pick up the pieces and move on with a new family that will love him unconditionally, just as he loves. If you can help Valentino get on the right path again, call to visit him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentino, a Charleston Australian Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
