Ginger's Story...
Ginger is a 7 year old Chihuahua who is a lot of love in a small package. She's great with kids, dogs and cats, but she has a strange aversion to 'three hour tours'! She's up to date on her shots, already spayed, and perfectly house-trained. She would make a fun little buddy for any MaryAnn, Gilligan or whole crew - so come by to meet Ginger today!

If you'd like to apply for Ginger, or any of my rescue's other dogs, please email info@labsandfriends.org to request an application or go to their website at www.labsandfriends.org and download and fill one out. They can be scanned and emailed or faxed to 818-351-8148 (no cover needed)..

Thank you for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Burbank Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
