My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: PINEAPPLE
Breeds: Shiba Inu (Spitz) mix
Sex: Female
Weight: 15- 20 lbs.
Age: 2 yrs. old
Description: Pineapple is shy when meeting new people and tends to be fearful around men. She has warmed up to her foster family and is sweet and snuggly with people she knows and trusts. Pineapple knows basic commands, is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. She does well with other dogs and is good with cats. We recommend Pineapple for a home with children age 10 and up (due to her shy/timid nature). Pineapple is a sweet and gorgeous pup and will surely make an adopter very happy!
Energy Level: Low/Medium
Health Concerns: None

Pineapple is shy, sweet, and oh so scrumptious! She's a gorgeous little Shiba Inu (Spitz) mix who's 15 to 20 lbs. and 2 yrs. old. Though timid when meeting new people, she is warm and snuggly when she feels safe and comfortable. She's a sweet girl looking for a happy home. Will it be yours?

LGR is a foster based rescue, which means that our adoptable dogs live in foster homes. Because they live with us, we know the habits, needs, temperament, and level of training of our dogs. To adopt an LGR dog, we ask that you first submit an adoption application (link below). When we receive your application, we will review and respond via email within 7 days. Our adoption process does more than screen applicants; it allows us to work with adopters to properly match our dogs with their forever homes. Each LGR dog is spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, bordatella, DHLPP), heartworm tested (age appropriate), microchipped, and treated with heartworm and flea preventative. . As a foster based rescue, we rely on the generosity of people like you to open your hearts & homes to a dog in need. To become an LGR foster, please submit a foster application here: http://bit.ly/LGRFosterApp
