Hi, I'm Hermione. I am a female, 4 month old puppy and I guess you could describe me as a wire haired yellow Labrador. I am really wire haired and not poodle haired! The good news is I will only require some regular brushing and not actual grooming. So I will always be a bit fluffy but won't have long hair. I am just a puppy now and should be about the size of a labrador when I am all grown up. I came from a shelter and was not used to living inside, so my foster mom has been teaching me all kinds of things about living inside and being around people. So far I have learned to be comfortable inside (I love cool hardwood floors to lay on), meeting people and pets (the dog park was fun!), walking on a leash (doing well but I still need a little confidence), housebreaking (making progress but I am still a puppy so I need a bit more work), going for car rides (I am beginning to like these) and just general manners (I love working for treats). I am playful and fun but I am not overactive. I get along great with other dogs, both big and small and am being fostered with both cats and kittens(and I have learned kittens are pretty fun to play with too). I am very soft and don't need much correction so I am very easy to train and teach. Because I am still just a little shy from my time in the shelter, I probably would do best in a home without very small children (say 6 and above). I like everybody tho and I think I can get used to any new home that loves me and feeds me and takes care of me! Would that be you?? Hermione is fostered in Madison, AL.
