Penny's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, and not good with cats.

Penny's Story...
Penny the dark red tri Miniature Australian Shepherd (Mini Aussie) in the photo with the white streak down her face. She needs a forever home along with her sister Maggie. Penny is about 18 months old and is super sweet. She is very active and loves to run play with her sister and swim in the tank. Penny needs to go to a home along with her sister (may possibly split to the right home) that has plenty of room for them to play and run. Penny and her sister both need a job and would be ideal for herding or agility. They are both Quick. If interested please contact me via email at valindapeters@ymail,com or phone 254-485-9121. Penny and her sister Maggie are not spayed as of yet but will be spayed or if a potential adopter is found before they are spayed a contract will need to be signed agreeing to spay her with in 30 days of adoption and provide me with proof. I require an application completed and a home check to ensure Penny and or Maggie go to a great home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Mesquite Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesquite, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Mesquite.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesquite already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesquite breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesquite paves the way for another one to be saved.
