Luciana's Story...
Lucy has been in rescue now for close to 9 months, and has been with her foster home for 7 months. She is still a little shy when meeting before, but has some a very long way from the dog she was when she first came in. She does open up fairly quickly but will require a patient owner that will allow her time to open up and trust. She is good with dogs and children. Luciana will be spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, current on heart worm prevention/flea and tick control, fecal checked negative. She requires a 6 foot fenced in yard. Please visit out website to fill out the Mastiff Application if you are interested in adopting. Lucy is located in Richmond, VA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luciana, a Virginia Beach Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
