Shenzie's Story...
Hi my name is Shenzi! I am a 8 week old female cocker/Dutch Shepherd mix. My paws are not that big so I will probably weigh around the 30+ range fully grown. I love playing with other dogs and kids of all ages. I am learning how to walk on a leash and being house trained. I am crate trained. I enjoy my chew toys, walks and a good run until I poop out, than it's nap time. Shenzi would be great with an active family with a small or large yard. She is currently being fostered in Azusa, CA. For an application visit our website: www.hopenheroes.com or email: Lorna@hopenheroes.com. Adoption/Donation fee and home inspection required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shenzie, a Torrance Cocker Spaniel/Dutch Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Dutch Shepherd for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Dutch Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Dutch Shepherd breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Dutch Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
